Consultancy & Time?

Unlike the famous Louis Armstrong song.... 'we don't have all the time in the world'. 

After long working days on the road, I often return home late in the evening and have to immediately start to plan for an early start the following day.  (Whilst of course continuing to do all that is required to run my own business.) 

Could you imagine what it would then be like if I encouraged folks to believe that I also had the available time in the evening to offer free technical or purchasing advice on all things tuning, carbs and ignition?   Sadly that would involve time that I simply don't have available to give.

When I give time for free.....it is usually to a Charity.

* As you'll see I do more than most for free, but it tends to be for registered charities examples such as....

• Dr Kershaws hospice,
• Help for Heroes,
• Macmillan Cancer Support,
• Yorkshire Air Ambulance
• ...etc etc
  

What is a consultancy package and why is it chargeable?

Part of being a professional of any skillset is that it is your paid profession from which you earn your living.  When folks write to a professional asking X, Y and Z they are basically wanting professional advice for FREE.  I can't blame them for trying however it is often worth restating those words.......as a professional it is my paid profession.

 Would you benefit from a consultancy package?

When I receive questions I can immediately envisage the time required to give the answer you require.  For example where one answer leads to in terms of the next question about to be raised.  Ultimately I'll then have a feel for the time involved, and I can offer an indication of the associated cost which will be required to be pre-paid before I invest my time into offering the explanation which you require.

1 unit or 1hr written consultancy of time @ £65/hr.....

1 unit of onsite consultancy / training time......available from £100/hr...

I generally carry a mobile card payment machine with me and payment forms accepted at the time of tuning:-



a) Bank Card / Credit Card 

b) Bank Transfer,
