The Ford Escort MK1 Mexico was a very desirable car in it's day and perhaps even more so now.   Here is a very nice example of a genuine Mexico which is well kept and recently had an engine refurb whilst remaining at std bore or perhaps +10 thou at the very most.

The basics of this Escort Mexico are that it is a runner, however it had some hesitations within the mid rpm ranges and one spark plug seemed to be slightly darker than the others.  So the client contacted me and asked me to give it a check over to see if any issues could be identified which could potentially be the cause of the problem.  Not a problem for AG at all.........because AG's tuning is all based around checking the correct function and operation of all the key elements which effect the start up and general running of the engine.

After tuning by AG here is how the MK1 Mexico sounds at idle, even with a fast road cam fitted....very sweet!
