Any version model or version of the e-type jaguar is a pleasure to work on, and this was a particularly nice and well prepared example.  As ever it was equipped with 4 x CD175-2 Stromberg carbs, and an S.N.G Barratt Distributor equipped with electronic ignition.  If you watch the below two video's on the first video you'll see that the tickover isn't bad, however there's a very slight 'blip' in a regular pattern and the rpms drop from 800 to 750 very temporarily.   In the second video, you'll see how stable the idle rpm is after we found the issue and rectified the problem.

As ever we carried out our normal health check and tune, rectified a minor issue here and there and brought the Jaguar back to it's very best.  Listen to both of the below videos for a sample of a lovely crisp V12. 

Fuelling checked and set, ignition checked and set so its then time for the E-Type to depart and for this beautiful classic to be returned to the owner as we get ready for the next classic car incoming.
