1954 Jaguar XK120

This is an original 1954 Jaguar XK120 (Same owner for 25 years)

As you may see in the below picture the engine is equipped with a pair of twin HD8 SU Carburettors together with a slightly modified needle profile ram charge style from mounted air filtration.  The owner reported that the engine had a tendency to stall occasional when pulling up to traffic lights or at a junction, and wasn't quite the best at idle either. 

By going through all aspects of fuel supply and carburation, the cause of the symptoms described by the owner, were soon found and rectified.  Once everything was dialled in together this majestic old jaguar 'purrrred' like a big cat with intention.   A simply stunning car!!
