Sunbeam Rapier Tuning by AG Classic Car Tuning

The Sunbeam Rapier 1955 -1976  (Bluebell as this actual car is known)

This beautiful Sunbeam Rapier was purchased by Steve and Julie Thorpe in 2023.  Behind the scenes and prior to the big reveal to their friends and other local classic car enthusiasts, Steve contacted me and asked me to give 'Bluebell' a health check and tune.

It was just a simple matter of a few tweaks here and there with the ignition and twin Solex carbs to bring this lovely car back to running just as well as it looks.

After the 'big reveal' Bluebell has gone onwards to win numerous awards at classic car shows throughout Yorkshire and North of England.  A simply stunning car from a wonderful era. 

A pleasure to work on and big smiles each time I see Steve and Julie at various classic cars shows throughout the region.
